Guerilla Girls
Now expanding to two days a week, our Guerrilla Girls program is designed to uplift and empower girls through community, creativity, and social justice. Participants will not only build self-esteem and leadership skills, they’ll also take part in co-leading with our SIS, DO YOU! fellows, fostering a dynamic, multigenerational learning environment.
This program offers a brave and affirming space for all girls, especially trans girls, supported by our trans youth consultant, Aaryn Lang. We focus on nurturing the whole girl—mind, body, and spirit, by offering mutual aid support that extends into the home. This includes access to our Freedom Boutique, a free thrift store with clothing, menstrual products, and household goods, and our Social Justice Café, where girls will learn to run the café, enjoy free meals, and earn a per diem. Families are also invited to join us for shared meals and celebrations of community.
Guerrilla Girls is more than an afterschool program, it’s a space where girls grow into powerful young leaders, grounded in self-love, justice, and radical care.
